Being the signifcant other of one who loves Science fiction often puts me in situations where I watch movies I'm not really in to and I end up noticing things a viewer isn't supposed to.
For example in the Matrix when Trinity is dying I noticed her fillings... In Star Trek I notice when it's the next day and people are wearing the same outfit or vice versa. Even though I like Star Wars, when Darth Vader tells Luke that he is his father, Luke flashes some rabbit/chiclet teeth that makes me laugh every time. Perhaps I should get a job as a film screener and anything I notice that is distracting from the film is edited!

Vertical Limit. A bunch of us went to see it a few years ago. We all died laughing because from the get go, we could see the boom grey fuzzy microphone in every other shot peering down from above. Even at the end when there is this really sappy part - somebody in a bed dying or recovering (who cares - the movie sucked), you see the big mic almost hitting the protagonists head. Hilarious.
We counted up to 50 appearances and then stopped counting. They must have cleaned it up for DVD - I'll never know.
