A nice week

So far work has been easy, the weather nice and extra curricular activites interesting. On sunday I saw "Nacho Libre" and yesterday another nanny and I reviewed all the funny parts... there are quite a few. I took care of a 11 month old baby who was quite adorable (watch out for the rise of maternal instincs) and we went for a long walk in the park, he took a nap while I read "Anne of Green Gables". I can't get over how every time I read this book it makes me think of a home I always imagined and still want. Last night Gabriel has his official graduation ceremony for College; it was a year after he finished his summer courses. What stinking boring speeches!!! Holy cow, I don't see how people can talk for so long when everyone is suffering. I say have one speaker then give everyone there diplomas and get out of there. It started at 8pm and didn't end until after 10pm... I was sitting alone and wishing I had brought a book. But at least I had the jazz fest schedule with me. Emmylou Harris is playing! Yeah, the summer is truly here!

So do you recommend "Nacho Libre"? And Emmylou Harris!!! Aaaaaaaah!!! You have to go and see her, she's one of my faves. She has a really pretty song on the Brokeback Mountain Soundtrack (have you seen that? How about the Da Vinci Code?) We're going to have to do some movie marathons when we visit:)
