Locked out

So, last night I had to drop off rent cheques at my fake apartment and after waiting for the bus and then watching my metro go by I finally go there only to realize I had given my key to Amber... so I tried all 3 windows and the only one I could manage to open was the bathroom one... it was only about a foot wide and I tried to see if I could fit and then realized if I fell into the tub in the dark and knocked myself out no one would know! I am anti-cell phone but this was one of the times I really wish I had one... so I jammed my cheques in my landlords soon to be apartment above mine and hoped that he found them. On the way back to Gabe's I had to kind of laugh at the whole situation. Breaking into my own place...

Happens to the best of us. What really would have been funny is if someone called the cops on you. Well...it would have been funny after...but it would have been funny. :-)

Sirdar is right... getting caught by the cops would have been even more funny. This happened to me once. Returning from a baseball game with my brothers, we realized we locked the keys in the car. We proceeded to "jimmy" the locks. The parking lot was beside a police station and they were there in a few minutes. Hilarious! Even they thought so.

My mom called the cops on a teacher once who was in her classroom at 3 AM in the school accross the road.

Keys. I hate keys. One of the most awesome feelings in New Brunswick was not having keys in my pockets. Leaving the car unlocked, key in the ignition, doors unlocked, lawnmower too (key in the ignition). Can't we all just get along?
