Hallowe'en to Christmas in 24 hours

Yep, it's time. The Hallowe'en decorations were put and Christmas ones were replaced. Christmas trees, wreaths and loads of Christmas decorations are on sale. I must confess I bought some Christmas cards and some ribbon and Christmas stamps. YOu know, the early bird. It's nice to Christmas shop at this time because there is no panic and you feel leisurely. We got "Nacho Libre" last weekend and watched it again. It wasn't as funny as the first time I saw it. Last Friday Gabe and I celebrated 5 years of dating. We had a lovely dinner at our favorite restaurant with creme brullee for dessert. Then on Saturday we went to Vermont for the baptism of Laina, Gabriel's niece. We had great food, good company and a great weekend.

KInd of sad how the holidays are so consumerist hey. They had Xmas stuff in the one big store here since October! And they also have Halloween stuff that I think maybe all of two people buy, so there are all these bins of 75% off costumes, silly. Glad you enjoyed Vermont, it's such a pretty place hey. We need to get on drawing names for our Xmas exchange so people can start shopping if they want I guess, since you're starting now:) I think I'll get Debby to do it and then email all of us who we have - fun! I love Xmas!
