I would recommend Men Don't Leave (only available on VHS), In America, Strictly Ballroom and Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain
I would say, the Notebook. A very nice story in that movie... I admit it, I watched that chick flick and I have actually liked it! lol
