Fall is here
Last weekend in Burlington we went to the county fair... It was almost an exact replica of the one that comes to Smithers every fall. The rides, the candied apples, the carnies and the whole feeling. The first ride I went on was the zipper. It was one I remember from my childhood that was a bit of a rite of passage... if you went on the zipper, you were no longer a little kid. I went with Gabe and we yelled and screamed as it flipped and turned, it was great fun.

They had a fair week (more like 12 days) here in Tactic a couple weeks back. They had a zipper too. The two operators murdered one of Tactic's rich guys sons and then "someone" hired someone to kill these two guys. The zipper went out of operation after that.
I'm not one for fair rides anyway.
I never did ride the zipper, I'm more of a bumper cars kind of girl:) I love the photos we have of us when we were little at the fair, blond hair blowing in the wind eating sticky sweet candy apples:) That must have made you a little homesick or at least nostalgic being at the Vermont Fair hey.
