My internship is going quite well, Grades 1-6 are pretty interesting and mostly good. Here are some comments from students: (all in French)
- Are you Mr. Antoine's wife? (My cooperating teacher, he's 76 years old)
- Are you his mother?
- Do I have to speak in English?
- I like your scarf
- You have some chalk on your bum
- Are you always going to be here?
- Why are you here?
So of course, these comments can be taken in several ways, I try to practice patience and see the great potential in a good laugh with most comments...

I hope you didn't leave your students hanging like you're leaving us hanging... Are you his wife and mother? Do they have to speak English? Why are you there? Will you always be there for them?
Hey I commented ages ago but it's not here, weird. Anyway, the kids sound awesome and I'm glad that you are enjoying yourself. I love how kids are so uninhibited and totally honest when they are young. Keep up the good work Miss Reding!
Well, I told them 'no' I'm not his wife or his mother and I'm here for 6 weeks to help M. Antoine
